Negombo is situated by the shores of a lagoon by the same name once has been a trading port for Portugese and Dutch and is an ideal place for those who want quick access to and from the airport. Attractions in the city are the old Dutch fort gate built in 1672 now a part of the prison, the Dutch Canal which was then a supply route to the Dutch administration, old churches and fishing villagers. The 100km long canal running through the town is still being used and is an attraction for those who want to see the country from a different perspective.

Day 2

After Breakfast transfer VIA Kandy to Trincomalee


Trincomalee is a port city on the east coast of Sri Lanka, about 110 miles northeast of Kandy. The city is built on a peninsula, which divides the inner and outer harbours. It is one of the main centers of Tamil speaking culture on the island. Historically referred to as Gokanna, or Gokarna it has been a sea port that has played a major role in maritime and international trading history of Sri Lanka. This harbor is the 5th best harbor in the world. Other sites, Thirikooneshwaram Shiva Temple, Lovers Leep, snorkeling &scuba diving in pigeon island, Whale watching and Fort Fedrick.

Day 3

After breakfast Transfer to Passikudah

Pasikudah is one of the best east coast beaches to visit, ideal for sun bathing, water skiing and wind surfing. Passikudah beach is approximately 4 Km long. The reef consists of corals and colorful tropical fish. The beach is safe for bathing, since it is very clear and it is protected by the reef.

Day 5 & 6

After Breakfast transfer to Arugambay

Arugam Bay is a bay situated on the Indian Ocean in the dry zone of Sri Lanka's southeast coast. The bay is located 320 km east of Colombo. It is a popular surfing and tourist destination. Arugam bay is rated as one of the best surfing arenas in the world, since “A” framed waves develops here in the season. The best time to visit is between April to October. Annually, surfing competitions have been organized at Arugam bay.

Day 7

After breakfast transfer to Kandy

The city of Kandy is a UNESCO declared world heritage site. Kandy-a major tourist destination-is also known as the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. Nestled in the hills at an altitude of 488 m, it is located at a distance of 115 km from Colombo. Kandy is famous for the Kandy Perahara-a huge cultural pageant that takes place in the month of July or August. It is one of the most colorful pagents of the world. Thousands of drummers and dancers accompanying a parade of caprisoned elephants perform in the streets of Kandy. In addition, you can visit the Royal botanical garden, Gadaladeniya, embekke, Lankathilake temples, the cultural dance show and many gem and jewellery, batik, silk shops.

Day 8

After breakfast transfer to Kithulgala for white water rafting


Kitulgala is a small town in the west of Sri Lanka. It is in the wet zone rainforest, which experiences two monsoons each year, and is one of the wettest places in the country. Nevertheless, it comes alive in the first three months of the year, especially in February, the driest month. The Academy Award-winning "The Bridge on the River Kwai" was filmed on the Kelani River near Kitulgala, although nothing remains now except the concrete foundations for the bridge Kitulgala is also a base for white-water rafting, which starts a few kilometers upstream.

Day 9

After breakfast transfer to Colombo for Colombo city tour

The name "Colombo", first introduced by the Portuguese in 1505, is believed to be derived from the classical Sinhalese name Kolon thota, meaning "port on the river Kelani".Today, Colombo is the commercial capital of Sri lanka. Home to all trades, the old parliament, purposely built hotels, religious sites, schools, and universities’. The Administrative capital is at Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, it is a few miles away from Colombo. Many gem shops, tea and spice shops, Handicrafts, Branded clothes and many recreational paths made for the health conscious souls is an interesting phase in Colombo.
