Round Tour – 5 Nights 6 Days

 

DAY 1                                                                           

Guests will arrive at the Bandaranaike International airport in Katunayake, a representative from Sinha travels will take the guests to the hotel in Negombo.

Negombo is situated by the shores of a lagoon by the same name once has been a trading port for Portuguese and Dutch and is an ideal place for those who want quick access to and from the airport. Attractions in the city are the old Dutch fort gate built in 1672 now a part of the prison, the Dutch Canal which was then a supply route to the Dutch administration, old churches and fishing villagers. The 100km long canal running through the town is still being used and is an attraction for those who want to see the country from a different perspective.

Day 2

After Breakfast transfer to Kandy, on the way visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage, Spice Garden, The temple of the sacred tooth relic, Royal Botanical garden, University of Peradeniya and the cultural show.

The city of Kandy is a UNESCO declared world heritage site. Kandy-a major tourist destination-is also known as the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. Nestled in the hills at an altitude of 488 m, it is located at a distance of 115 km from Colombo. Kandy is famous for the Kandy Perahara-a huge cultural pageant that takes place in the month of July or August. It is one of the most colorful pageants of the world. Thousands of drummers and dancers accompanying a parade of caparisoned elephants perform in the streets of Kandy. In addition, you can visit the Royal botanical garden, Gadaladeniya, embekke, Lankathilake temples, the cultural dance show and many gem and jewellery, batik, silk shops.

Day 3

After Breakfast transfer to Nuwaraeliya, on the way visit a Tea factory, water falls, and a city tour in Nuwaraeliya

Nuwara Eliya means "city of Lights”, is a town in Sri Lanka. It is located at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) in the central highlands and is considered one of the most important locations for Tea production in Sri Lanka. The town is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. It is complemented by the water falls and the Lush green Tea estates and tea factories. It is an ideal Holiday spot for all travellers

Day 4

After Breakfast transfer to Galle; city tour in Galle Fort

Galle

 Galle is a town situated on the southwestern tip of Sri Lanka, 119 km from Colombo.  Galle was known as a port of call during the colonial period in Sri Lanka. Galle reached the height of its development in the 17th century, during the Dutch colonial period. The Galle fort was 36 Hectares; it consists of 12 Bastians ,  massive ramparts, narrow roads consisting of Dutch architecture and houses . Thus, These structures have qualified the fort to become a living city of a by gone era. Galle Fort is a UNESCO declared world heritage site.

Day 5

After breakfast transfer to Bentota for water sports and, Madhu river boat ride.

Sri lanka is a tropical island with beaches around the island. The temperature of the water is 270 C all year round; therefore, Sri Lanka becomes the hot spot for water sports. In Bentota you can enjoy the Banana ride, sofa ride, Jet Ski, diving, and deep sea fishing. This is for everyone of any age, there are specially trained individuals to guide for those able and for those who does not know to swim as well. So, everyone can enjoy at this place. In addition, if you wish for a calm and serene holiday, you can experience a tranquil environment at the local herbal spas and experience the ancient art of healing called Ayurveda, Indegeneious medicine. If you wish to taste the local alcoholic beverage, which is 100% free from methanol and made of only coconut nectar, the ideal time is to have at dawn or dusk.

Day 6

After Breakfast, transfer to Colombo, for Colombo City tour

The name "Colombo", first introduced by the Portuguese in 1505, is believed to be derived from the classical Sinhalese name Kolon thota, meaning "port on the river Kelani".Today, Colombo is the commercial capital of Sri lanka. Home to all trades, the old parliament, purposely built hotels, religious sites, schools, and universities. The Administrative capital is at Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, it is a few miles away from Colombo. Many gem shops, tea and spice shops, Handicrafts, Branded clothes and many recreational paths made for the health conscious souls is an interesting phase in Colombo.
